Luwam Gabreselassie joined Washington Innocence Project as a Paralegal in November 2021. Luwam previously worked as a Paralegal at a civil legal aid organization assisting homeless and low-income clients obtain and navigate Social Security benefits. She received her BS and BA from the University of Washington. Luwam is passionate about combating bias within the legal field and is excited to be part of the team.
