Ashley O’Connor McCready is an attorney in Washington state and the founding partner of Justitia Collective, LLC, a law firm specializing in post-conviction legal support and the decarceration of over-criminalized persons.
Prior to founding her own firm, Ashley served as a law clerk for Judge Leonard Feldman at the Court of Appeals, Division 1. Ashley received her Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law as well as her master’s degree in political science from the University of Illinois and her bachelors degree in business from California State University.
Ashley has over two decades of years of experience advocating for marginalized communities through Youthcare, Treehouse, Advocacy for Patients, Team Gleason, Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, Path with Art, and the American Equity Justice Group, where she is currently board secretary. In her free time, she loves traveling with her three kids and husband, knitting, and reading historical fiction books.
