Paralegal Intern

Kirsten MacPherson is a paralegal student at Tacoma Community College and joins the Washington Innocence Project with a professional background in project management, operations, and contract administration at Boeing. Motivated by a longstanding interest in constitutional principles, due process, and institutional accountability, she is pursuing a transition into public interest law and post-conviction advocacy.

She is particularly interested in careful investigation, fairness in legal proceedings, and the role effective advocacy plays in protecting the integrity of legal outcomes.

Outside of work and school, Kirsten enjoys boating throughout the Pacific Northwest and spending time with Jade, her Labrador retriever and service dog.
