Lindsey joined the Washington Innocence Project as a Staff Attorney in 2023. Prior to that, she was a public defender in King County, where she proudly represented hundreds of clients on charges ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies, both at the trial and appellate level. She also clerked for the Honorable Justice Sheryl Gordon McCloud of the Washington State Supreme Court.
Lindsey received her law degree from Harvard Law School, where she was a student attorney and board member of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau and the Harvard Defenders, and received the Gary Bellow Public Service Award by vote of the student body for her commitment to social justice. Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her family in the great outdoors and working with her hands.
